Traffic Alert: McMurray Road Closed Until Wednesday Night

McMurray Road from Johnston Road to Country Club Drive in Upper St. Clair will be closed until Wednesday night, May 4. Bethel Church Road from McMurray Road to Drake Road will also be closed. Crews from the power company will be repairing power lines following Tuesday evening's storm.

Drivers from Ruthfred Drive, Wiltshire Drive and Harrow Road will be directed to go south on McMurray Road.
During the closure, there will be no access to the Sunoco gas station or the Dunkin', Baskin-Robbins, and Toss Pizza and Wings complex.
Around 6 p.m., drivers were asked to avoid the McMurray Road and Bethel Church Road intersection due to trees down on vehicles and power lines.
Painters Run Road is also closed between Robb Hollow Road and McMillan Road. The road was closed at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday.
According to West Penn Power, approximately 1,100 customers in Upper St. Clair were without power at 8:30 Tuesday night. As of 7 a.m. Wednesday morning, 403 customers were without power.
